Michael Alan Deewall (77 years) of Coldwater, KS passed away November 10, 2025. Mike was born October 16, 1948 in Stillwater, OK. He was the only child of Orville and Gertrude Deewall. Mike’s childhood was spent growing up on the Par-Ker Ranch near Choteau, OK which his father Orville managed. This is where Mike first developed his love for ranching and Hereford Cattle. Mike attended school in Chelsea, OK and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1966. Mike was very active in FFA participating in livestock judging, showing cattle, and speech contests. Myra Jean Hanna, 97, lifelong rancher in the Sybille Canyon area, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in Laramie, Wyoming. Myra lived a good and long-life ranching with grit and perseverance. Myra was born on Sunday, October 16, 1927 in Wheatland, Wyoming the daughter of Earl F. and Myrtle Augusta (Rosentreter) Hanna. Donald Baumgarten, 93, of Casselton, ND passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home. Donald Virgil Baumgarten was born Nov. 19, 1931 at Fargo, ND to Richard and Gertrude (Hans) Baumgarten. He grew up on the family farm near Durbin, ND and attended school in Durbin graduating from Lincoln High School in Casselton in 1949. Donald married Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Jabs on June 1, 1952. They made their home on a farm later moving to the home farm in the 1960’s. Donnie was a life-long farmer and raised Hereford cattle. In April of 2014, Donnie and Bobbie moved into Casselton. He continued to help on the farm until hispassing and cherished the five generation longevity of working the soil.
